In order to facilitate the application process, following optional services are available at a nominal additional charge at the service centre.
SMS Visa Application Tracking Service:
This optional service provides you real time updates by SMS about your visa application, from receipt of the application till the return of the passport with the visa.
At each step in the application process, an automated SMS is send to your mobile phone
For applications at the counter, this service will inform you when your passport is ready for collection.
For applications by post
You will receive an SMS confirming the safe receipt of your application at India Visa Application Center (IVAC).
You will receive SMS stating whether your application is complete/incomplete
You will be informed whether IVAC have received the payment
You will receive SMS confirming your visa is under process
When the passport is send back with the visa, you will receive the tracking number of the registered post by SMS.

Express Courier Service:
Delivery of your passport in 24 hours once the passport with the visa is returned by the Consulate / Embassy to IVAC
Repeated delivery attempts by the courier service if you are not at home / office.
Your passport is more secure and insured for a higher amount than normal post.
Save time and reduce cost. Help you to avoid visiting our centre to collect the passport if you submitted your application at the counter.
